Computer Security is the protection of computing systems and the data that they store or access.
Why is Computer Security Important?
Computer Security allows the University to carry out its mission by:

NETWORK SECURITY CERTIFICATES
SSL (secure socket layer certificates)
- small data files that digitally bind a cryptographic key to an organization details.
- allow secure connections from a web server to a browser
- when installed a web server ,it activates the padlock and the https protocol
- ssl is used to secure credit card transaction, data transfer, and logins.
